Things No one Told You About Makeup

This is an article on things no one told you about Makeup. I've missed you guys terribly, and I hope everyone is enjoying their week because I am. I've been wondering what next? What can I give you guys that you don't already know or heard somewhere?

Be rest assured I'm not trying to start up a conspiracy theory about Makeup (is that even possible?) But trying to help you understand somethings people new to makeup might not know. I hope I'm not gonna break anybody's heart, but I want to be as honest as possible about things you don't know about Makeup.

* Makeup Expires:

 Even though a handful of people know that makeup expires, a greater don't know it does! So, that Mascara you've been using since 2016 is probably not only old, but expired too. Mascaras don't have very long life spans, and the most popular reason people stop using their mascara is probably because it got dry. Don't do that to your face! Please, toss those old makeup into the trash can and don't look back.

* Neck Colour Determines Your Foundation Colour:

Makeup artists have been nice enough to use foundation on your neck to match the colour of your face, but they are just being nice. Your neck Colour should determine the colour of foundation you will use for a more natural look, if your neck is more than a shade darker than your face then there is a problem somewhere.

* Bronzers Are Not For Play:

You might find it fun to try bronzers for the first time (and you know nothing about them) don't! Bronzers are not for play, and they have a technicality to it than just swiping on your face with a brush. Bronzer should be applied on your cheekbones and blended naturally to surrounding skin.

* Adhesives Are Used For False Eyelashes:

Someone actually asked if it was true makeup artists use adhesives for false lashes, yes! Yes they do. It's best you don't try fixing it yourself if you don't know the right bonding and adhesives to use. I do recommend Mac Lash Adhesive, it's sticks easily and it's not messy.

* Blending Is Essential:

This is an essential part of makeup, blending your foundations, your concealers or even your bronzers gives your makeup the right touches without working too hard.

* Good Skin Equals Pretty Makeup:

I know you might think makeup is all you need to achieve the prettiest looks, but a pretty skin is much better, your makeup looks better and you might not have to wear so much makeup like you use to.

* Opt For Nude Makeup For Your Everyday Look:

Nude lipsticks, nude eyeshadows or even a less shimmy setting Spray could make you look like you aren't trying too hard.

* Glitters Might Be Your Worse Nightmare:

Glitters might be pretty, but should be used sparely, you don't wanna look like a disco ball, do you?( You do). Especially glitters applied with glue, calm down! it might glitter, but it's certainly not gold.

* Buy Original Makeup Products:

You might be excited with how many makeup products you could buy with such a lesser amount, don't! Products used on your face (or anyway actually) should be authentic to reduce cases of weird rashes and gross pimples, ewwww!

* You Don't Look Like The Girl on Instagram:

It's fine to not look like the girl on Instagram, even the girl on Instagram doesn't look like the girl on Instagram. Most Instagram makeup pictures have been carefully edited to sooth the eyes , so don't be sad your makeup doesn't look as perfect as your favorite IG goddess.

* It's Okay To Not Always Wear Makeup:

Makeup is a beautiful thing I respect, but even I don't always wear it, I'm often bare faced than makeup faced... But it never hurts to wear it sometimes.
