How To Wear High Heels Without The Leg Pains

This is an article on how to wear high heels for a longer period without the pain.

Hey guys! How's your day going? Mine is going well too. Sorry for the slower updates these days, I've got my hands full with some extra work (don't ask, please).
For all my posts, they are usually inspired by a person, a season or an event. This post is no different, last December, I was the makeup artist for my sister-in-laws wedding (yay me) I'm so proud of that even though I did a very light makeup(she insisted by the way), I enjoyed every  minute of it.

After flaunting my new stiletto to my cousins, I was determined to wear it on the big wedding! Alas, the day came and ended up wearing a pair of sandals (a cute one).
So, I got inspired to write this article on how to wear high heels for a longer period without tears or blisters!

1. Wear Right Size Of Shoes
Wearing the right size of shoes ultimately prevents aching legs and also makes you more comfortable. If you are a size 39 and you squeeze into a size 38, you are doing your feet harm.

* Test shoes before buying always

* Make sure they are comfortable

* Find your right size.

2. Wear Thicker Heels

Forget the facts that stilettos rule your world, if you want to keep your delicate legs free from blisters and tears, stick to block heels, wedges or at least heels that aren't thin. People general feel a lot more support from shoes that have more thickness in the heel. But, I'm not saying you can't wear your stilettos, they are still a must-have for sacred occasions.

3. Rest Your Feet
Instead of walking all day in those pair of heels, sometimes take a minute to rest your legs and rub your feet. Rubbing your feet helps blood circulation which is highly need in the feet due to the abnormal arching of the legs on heels. Take 5 minutes to rub your feet every hour in order to wear heels for longer.

4. Shoe Inserts- Live Savers

Shoe inserts are often seen in sneakers and other sport wears due to the rigours of sporting activities. Shoe inserts are very uncommon in heels, that's why you need to get them at any supermarket you know.
The shoe inserts are pad-like items put inside the shoes to add comfort to your feet. Though, shoe inserts alone cannot grant you the comfort you need, but a host of other activities on this list will totally help your feet.

5. Learn To Walk Properly
Walking well with heels is one of the most important factors to put in place for a blister-free shoe ride. I had a roommate in the university who never wears heels, she says it makes her walk weird(PS, she loves sneakers a lot).

If People with naturally poor walking postures decide to wear heels(which kinda corrects your posture) will feel awkward and will probably end up walking weirdly with the heels (if they don't fall off the staircase first)

6. Use Deodorants To Prevent Blisters

Deodorants can reduce the friction you get from your skin to your feet which causes blisters. So, before going out or travelling with heels, simply rub deodorant at the back of your feet, the sides and your toes to prevent excess rubbing of the two.
