Everyone Is Happy On Social Media: The Social Media Depression

Social Media depression has been so rampant these days, look around, everyone has a smart phone, times are changing, so are people.

When you go through your Instagram, you see your friends from highschool having a convincingly better life than you have(at least you think so). Your Ex's new girlfriend looks hot and you can't help but bite your lips, you are slightly sad, but calling it depression might be over the board.

What is Depression

Depression is a feeling of dejection, sadness and sorrow. Sometimes, you feel like nothing is going so well, and you check Facebook, your friend has a new car, cute kids and a beautiful wife! You might pretend to be happy for him, but we all know the truth.

What is Social Media Depression

Social media depression is a feeling of dejection you get from your social media life and the life of other people within your circle.

Why We Have Social Media Depression

*We spend too much time on social media:

A research conducted by Arias Research says youth spend a lot of time on social media than meeting real people. The more time you spend on Social Media, the more you are likely to see Jennifer's new boyfriend.

*People Are Living Fake Lives:

A lot of people are living a fake life. Most people are trying to prove to people that they are happy when they are not. Someone once said never believe everything you see on social media, no one is always happy.

* Everyone Has Their Time Of Success:

Do not compare everyone's success to yours, everyone has their time of success. You can be broke at 24 and become the richest man in the world at 30. The faster you stop comparing your life to other people's, the better it will be for you.
